Everything you need to know about partnering with Quarksoft.
The Partnership
How does the partnership actually work?
You identify software needs among your clients and bring them to us. We build the solution — you maintain the client relationship. You choose your billing model: bill the client yourself at a markup, or let us bill directly while you earn a referral fee. Either way, your client sees you as the provider.
Will you steal my client?
No. Our partnership model is built on one principle: you are the relationship, we are the capability. Your client contracts with you. You contract with us. We build, you deliver. The client sees you as the provider — because you are. We are your development arm, not a competitor.
Is there a minimum commitment?
No. No minimum number of clients, no long-term contracts. Start with one client and grow from there.
What if I only have one client to start?
That is fine. Most partnerships start with a single client. Once you see how the model works, you can replicate it across your client base.
Money
How do I make money?
Two options. In the markup model, you bill your client at whatever rate you set and pay Quarksoft at your partner rate — the difference is your margin. In the referral model, Quarksoft bills the client directly and you receive an ongoing referral fee. Both models generate recurring monthly income.
What discount do I get?
Partner discounts up to 30% off retail pricing, depending on volume, relationship, and negotiation. The more clients you bring, the better the terms.
Who pays for the Activation Sprint?
The client pays for the Activation Sprint, either through you or directly depending on your billing model. It is treated the same as any other sprint — $5,000 flat fee.
Do points roll over?
No. Points reset each month. This keeps things simple and ensures the backlog stays prioritized. Your clients always know exactly what they are getting each month.
Code & Ownership
Who owns the source code?
Whoever pays, owns. If you bill the client, you and your client own the code. If Quarksoft bills directly, the client owns it. Important: source code only transfers when the client or MSP continues past the Activation Sprint into a build plan. The Activation Sprint prototype stays with Quarksoft unless a build subscription begins.
What if we want to part ways?
If you have continued past the Activation Sprint, the code is yours. We will do a clean handoff of source code, documentation, and infrastructure access.
Technical
What tech stack do you use?
We review the technology stack per project based on the client's needs, existing systems, and long-term requirements. There is no one-size-fits-all — we pick the right tools for each job.
Who handles hosting and infrastructure?
Quarksoft manages hosting and infrastructure during the build and evolution phases. If your MSP prefers to host, we can transition infrastructure to your management.
What are your SLAs?
SLAs are defined during partnership onboarding based on the scope of work and client needs. We will agree on response times, uptime commitments, and escalation procedures together.
The Portal
What does the MSP portal look like?
You get a dashboard that shows all your clients' projects in one place. Track progress, manage backlogs, see points usage, and review deliverables. The portal can be branded with your MSP's logo and colors — your clients never see Quarksoft's name.
Can my clients log in too?
Yes. Each client gets their own login scoped to their project. They can see their backlog, track progress, and add requests — all under your brand.
